got a shoe shine today! 5 dolla 5 dolla in the diamond district. the guy who did it was the funniest hustler i’ve ever come across. he told me that i should be embarrassed to walk around with my boots all scuffed like they were. in fact, i (apparently) would have been better off barefoot.
