Dear Local Businesses,
I would like to inform you, on behalf of those who don’t want to fall, asses in the air, on your sidewalks, that it is considered polite to spread the salt evenly and generously across the cement around your storefront. Walking to work today I witnessed stores who would fall ten feet short of salting the designated area around their store. You are paying for every inch of that expensive New York City sidewalk— one might assume that you would take care of it. It is a dirty little game you play and I will have nothing to do with it.
With Concern,
